One of our goals at Mosteller Events is to provide friendly and personable service to all of our guests; as such, we’d love to take a moment to introduce you to some of our team members:
Jordan Spaller, Co-Owner
Jordan discovered the hospitality industry at a young age. Growing up, he spent a lot of time at his father’s restaurants, where he developed his passion for food and service. He spent his high school years working for several successful restaurants and catering companies, and in 2007 he relocated to Charlotte, NC where he attended one of America’s most prestigious culinary schools, Johnson & Wales University. In 2011 he graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Foodservice Management.
Jordan currently lives in Charlotte, NC and works for Marriott Charlotte City Center as a Food & Beverage Manager. Focusing on guest satisfaction, Jordan is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Marriott’s proof of concept craft coffee shop, Coco and the Director.
Jordan also focuses on back-office work at Mosteller Events. Specializing in research and product/service development, Jordan ensures that Mosteller Mansion retains its timeless elegance while also keeping up with current trends.
Chuck Spaller, Co-Owner
Chuck Spaller has spent his entire career in the culinary profession, learning the restaurant trade totally hands-on and continually growing in his enthusiasm for food and for service. Now he is happy to put his more than 35 years of experience to work in service of Mosteller Events, where he serves as the manager of the Mansion’s daily operations, booking weddings and coordinating all on-site parties and events. Chuck also oversees offsite catering events, and does the majority of the cooking himself.
Born in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Spaller has worked in a number of restaurants and franchises across the country; he’s now happy to be working in Hickory, North Carolina, and is passionate about Mosteller Events and what it brings to the community.
Jared NOe, Banquet Captain
From a young age Jared loved cooking with his grandma and dad, both of whom were enthusiastic about the possibilities they saw in the kitchen. They inspired Jared to continue his love for cooking and pursue a career in the hospitality field. After high school Jared picked up and moved from his native Ohio to Charlotte, North Carolina, to attend Johnson & Wales University. Here, he furthered his love of food, developed a sophisticated palette for beer and wine, and become enthusiastic about house service. In 2012, he graduated with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Service Management with an emphasis on Wine and Hospitality.
In the fall of 2012, Jared determined that he wanted to learn more about front of the house service as well as customer relations. He left the kitchen life and moved into operations for hotel companies like Hyatt and Marriott International. Currently, Jared works for Marriott International as well as for Mosteller Mansion Special Events as the front of the house supervisor and banquet captain. He specializes in customer relations, event productivity, design, and staff management for events both on-site and off. He plans to continue to work for Mosteller Special Events and has future goals to open up his own wine bar and specialty foods store in the Charlotte area.
